PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MINUTES
August 27, 2024 at 6:15 PM

1. Call to Order/Roll Call- The Public Works Committee held its regular session on Tuesday, August
27, 2024. Rick Noe called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm. Attending members included Donna
McGinley, Mary Bender, and Rick Noe. Also present were Mayor Darryl Teske, City Administrator
Daron Haugh, Director of Public Works Rob Nelson, and Deputy Clerk Nicole Lyddy.
2. Minutes-The motion was made by McGinley and seconded by Noe to approve the August 13,
2024 minutes. Motion carried.
3. Olympic Builders revised pay app #4 -The motion was made by Noe, and seconded by
McGinley to recommend to the council to pay Olympic Builders revised pay app #4 of $77,805.00.
Motion carried.
4. TID 5 Development Proposed Bids-The motion was made by McGinley, and seconded by Noe to
recommend to the council to accept MSA's bid of $94,000 plus reimbursable estimated at
$2,450.00. Motion carried.
5. Director of Public Works- Nelson stated that the new 35-mile-an-hour signs have gone up
coming into Mauston from Powers Ave on 82 West as well as on Gateway/82 East and Kennedy
Street.
6. Adjourn- The motion was made by McGinley, and seconded by Bender to adjourn. Motion carried
at 6:22 pm.
