PUBLIC INPUT ADMINISTRATION – DIANA CAMPBELL MOTION to approve minutes of Special Hearing May 11, 2022. MOTION to approve the minutes of May 11, 2022. MOTION to accept the Treasurer’s report for May, 2022. MOTION to pay all bills listed in packet and all others mentioned. MOTION to hire any new EMT/Drivers. Annual Conference report. STREETS AND PUBLIC WORKS – TIFFANY CASEY Update on riding mower. BUILDINGS AND PARKS – JENNIFER ROSSI Update on bank building. PLAYGROUNDS AND PARKS – MARY ROSLER Report on T-Mobile Grant. PUBLIC SAFETY – BRIDGET BOETTCHER Fire chief’s report – in packet. Zoning officer’s report – in packet. Planning commission report – Mayor Chelik. Discussion on Police Regionalization study FLOOD CONTROL – WENDY BOCHNOVICH Report on Ehrlich spraying riverbank. Letters to homeowners to cut trees by levee according to grant. Report on the railroad maintenance work needed at underpasses. Report on cutting grass on the levee. Report on Hershey conference. Levee will be inspected June 29 by the Army Corps of Engineers. MOTION to adopt Revised Operations & Maintenance Manual for Levee. STORMWATER – RON RYCZAK Report on stormwater on Hill Street on May 20, 2022. MAYOR’S REPORT – MAYOR ALEXANDER J. CHELIK Police report – in packet. ACT 32 REPORT – MAYOR CHELIK SOLICITOR’S REPORT – ATTY. JOHN J. LAWLER JR. OLD BUSINESS MOTION to close bids for the DPW Garage and River Project. MOTION to open bids for the DPW Garage and River Project. MOTION to accept the bids upon review of the solicitor and engineer. NEW BUSINESS MOTION to accept recommendations from planning commission to amend zoning ordinance and map. MOTION to approve pipe expense at the DPW site not to exceed $4,500 and to use ARPA funds. MOTION to borrow money from the Honesdale National Bank at 2.6% interest to cover the match for the outstanding grants. PUBLIC INPUT ADJOURNMENT Motion to adjourn.
