MAYFIELD BOROUGH COUNCIL Wednesday, August 10, 2022 AGENDA CALL TO ORDER at 7:00p.m. by President Diana Campbell followed by Pledge of Allegiance. ROLL CALL: Diana Campbell, Ron Ryczak, Mary Rosler, Wendy Bochnovich, Bridget Boettcher, Jennifer Rossi, Tiffany Casey. PUBLIC INPUT ADMINISTRATION – DIANA CAMPBELL Motion to approve the minutes of July 13, 2022 public hearing on amendment to zoning ordinance. Motion to approve the minutes of July 13, 2022. Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report for July, 2022. Motion to pay all bills listed in packet and all others mentioned. STREETS AND PUBLIC WORKS – TIFFANY CASEY BUILDING AND PARKS – JENNIFER ROSSI Roof repairs at the bank building were completed by Wodock Construction at cost of $4,000. PLAYGROUNDS AND PARKS – MARY ROSLER Mary Rosler applied for the Arts & Entertainment County Grant. PUBLIC SAFETY BRIDGET BOETTCHER Fire chief’s report – in packet. Zoning officer’s report – in packet. Planning commission report – Mayor Chelik. Refuse/recycling collection will be on Tuesday, September 6 due to Labor Day that Monday. Update on Police Regionalization Study. FLOOD CONTROL – WENDY BOCHNOVICH Report on Ehrlich spraying the levee. Report on grant to cut trees, fix pipe and clean the river. STORMWATER – RON RYCZAK Report on video of railroad pipe. Report on storm water project MAYOR’S REPORT – MAYOR ALEXANDER J. CHELIK Police report – in packet. ACT 32 REPORT – MAYOR CHELIK SOLICITOR’S REPORT OLD BUSINESS Report on DPW garage. Report on Recycling Grant. Report on farmer’s market. Discussion about address at 600 Hudson Street. Resolution to apply for RCP money as an applicant with the NEET Center. Resolution to enter into a cooperative agreement with the NEET Center. NEW BUSINESS Motion to accept agreement with solicitor. Discussion on Developer Agreement. Motion to advertise a public hearing on the LERTA. Motion to grant permission to Jason Smith to allow his contractor to fix May Street in front of his driveway at no cost to the borough. PUBLIC INPUT ADJOURNMENT MOTION to adjourn.
