CITY OF McKINNEY, TEXAS Minutes - Final Wednesday, April 15, 2020 6:00 PM Teleconference Meeting McKinney Urban Transit District Board McKinney Urban Transit District Minutes - Final April 15, 2020 Board PURSUANT TO TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 551.002, A QUORUM OF THE CITY COUNCIL MAY BE PRESENT. NO CITY COUNCIL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN. Please note that a quorum of the MUTD Board may not all be present at the same location. Some members may instead participate in this meeting from one or more remote locations in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. In addition, there may be occasions when the audio and/or video transmission may not be clear or may be interrupted. In those instances, the meeting will continue so long as a quorum is still present. WATCH THE BROADCAST LIVE This meeting will be broadcast live on cable television and through the City’s website. The motion carried by the following vote. Consider/Discuss/Act on Returning Unused URB2002 TxDOT Funds in the Amount of $337,036 A motion was made by Board Member Shemwell, seconded by Board Member Fuller,that this Agenda Item be Approved . The motion carried by the following vote. Consider/Discuss/Act on Approving a Proposal from Spare Labs, Inc in the Amount of $21,500 to Evaluate Current Transit Service and Make Service Model Recommendations A motion was made by Board Member Shemwell, seconded by Borg,that this Agenda Item be Approved . The motion carried by the following vote. Consider/Discuss/Act on a Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Program Grant Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the FY19 Bus and Bus Facilities Infrastructure Investment Program (5339) Funding A motion was made by Borg, seconded by Board Member Fuller,that this Agenda Item be Approved . The motion carried by the following vote. Consider/Discuss/Act on a Resolution Adopting a Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP); Appointing an Accountable Executive and Chief Safety Officer; and Certifying Compliance with 49 CFR Part 673 (Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan) A motion was made by Board Member Shemwell, seconded by Board Member Elliott,that this Agenda Item be Approved .
