Stonebridge Drive McKinney, Texas 75070 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Advisory Board Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Minutes - Final June 9, 2016 Advisory Board PURSUANT TO TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 551.002, A QUORUM OF THE CITY COUNCIL MAY BE PRESENT. NO CITY COUNCIL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN. CALL TO ORDER CONSENT ITEMS This portion of the agenda consists of non-controversial or housekeeping items required by law. Items may be considered individually by the Board or Commission member making such request prior to a motion and vote on the Consent Items. Minutes of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Advisory Board Meeting of May 12, 2016 A motion was made by Pereira, seconded by Warren,that this Minutes be Approved and Referred . The motion carried by the following vote. DISCUSSION ITEMS Discuss Opportunities for Partnerships Related to the Use of Amenities Located in Public City Parks Discuss a Recommendation to the City Council for the Name, Tagline and Logo for the New Aquatic and Fitness Center REGULAR AGENDA Consider/Discuss/Act on Making a Recommendation to the City Council for Naming a 16-Acre Neighborhood Park Located at 1849 Reagan Drive A motion was made by Dixon, seconded by Pereira,that this Agenda Item be Approved . The motion carried by the following vote. CITIZEN COMMENTS BOARD OR COMMISSIONER COMMENTS Board or Commission Comments relating to items of public interest: Announcements regarding local or regional civic and charitable events, staff recognition, commendation of citizens, upcoming meetings, informational update on projects, awards, acknowledgement of meeting attendees, birthdays, requests for items to be placed on upcoming agendas, and condolences.
