MENOMONIE AIRPORT COMMISSION
July 20, 2022
The Menomonie Airport Commission was called to order by Chairman Dr. Dan
Johnson at 6:00pm on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the Menomonie Municipal
Airport Terminal Conference Room. Other Commission members present included:
Arvin Solsaa, Earl Wildenberg and Randy Sommerfeld. Others in attendance
included: Randy Eide, Lowell Prange, and Melissa Underwood (SEH), and Darrel
Gibson.
The April 27, 2022 minutes were accepted by consensus. No Commission
meetings were held in May or June of 2022.
During Public Comments Melissa Underwood introduced herself and explained she
was Senior Planner working for SEH.
Gibson informed the Commission that the ceilometer was recently replaced but
we are still waiting for the AWOS replacement.
Under the Master Plan agenda item, Underwood informed the Commission on the
general Master Plan process based on her experience. The Bureau of
Aeronautics has set aside State Apportionment funding for the KLUM Master
Plan.
The Airport Manager presented his report.
With no further business, the Commission Meeting was adjourned by the
Chairman Johnson.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 6:00pm at the
Menomonie Municipal Airport Terminal.
