Kramschuster and Logan Mather. Also in attendance: Josh Miller, Lowell

Chairperson Mather opened the meeting. MOTION by Williams, seconded
by Kuether, to approve the Jan 24, 2022 minutes. MOTION passed.
Eide updated the Committee on bicycle/pedestrian related projects
scheduled for 2022. 2nd St pedestrian crossings in the downtown area
were replaced. A DNR grant application was submitted to repave the
Junction Trail adjacent to the Red Cedar River. Stout Road
improvements continue and should be complete in early September.
Williams reviewed the latest information from the Bike Federation
Advocate Program. Williams encouraged members to contact their state
representatives and express support for the Bike Federation Program.
The current existing/future bicycle map for the City of Menomonie was
reviewed with no suggested changes expressed during the meeting. Eide
will work with Cedar Corp to update the tourist trail sign that is
posted along our trails and send to the Committee members for comment.
Under BPAC concerns, there was a general concern regarding the
condition of the bicycle trail adjacent to Stokke Parkway.
Kramschuster asked if there was a better sidewalk connectivity plan
for the sidewalk south of the STH 29 pedestrian tunnel and adjacent to
the hospital.
The Committee requested a review of the Dunn County Bicycle Route Plan
at the next meeting. Josh Miller offered to send out the Park Plan
Community Survey to the Committee members for their review and input.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned by the Chair. Next

Respectfully submitted,
