Meeting Minutes
May 25, 2022
City Hall Council Chambers
MEMBERS PRESENT: Knaack, Richartz, Sather & Krupke
OTHERS PRESENT: Simon
A motion was made by Knaack, and seconded by Richartz to approve the February 2, 2022 meeting
minutes. Motion retracted by Knaack due to incorrect minutes date, thought it should be March 30th.
March meeting had no quorum. February and May minutes to be approved at July meeting.
ITEMS OF DISCUSSION:
Simon reviewed recent activity reports, upcoming events, STR report, website updates, marketing
plan and the 2022 budget. The chamber reports were accepted as presented.
Knaack discussed the option of providing bikes and kayaks for out-of-town guests. Sculpture tour
discussion will be presented at Plan Commission and City Council for approval. Discussed potential
partnering with Visit Eau Claire and the use of QR Code for Explore Menomonie guest packets.
The next regular meeting will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the City Council
Chambers. A motion was made by Richartz, seconded by Knaack to adjourn. Motion carried.
