Special Closed Session April 25, 2023 The Merrillan Village Board met in a special closed session on April 25, 2023 at 7:00p.m. With President Chris Wruck, Sally Madsen, Jordan Powell, Jane Fehrman, Heather Sprinkle, Clerk Penny Danielson, Assistant Superintendent Mike Garbers, and Attorney Mark Radcliffe present President Wruck called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. and certified the open meeting law requirement had been met. Roll call -Sprinkle, Madsen, Fehrman, Powell, Wruck The Village of Merrillan may convene in closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(b) to consider the dismissal, demotion, licensing or discipline of a Village Maintenance employee, the holding of an evidentiary hearing, and the taking of formal action on any such matter. Moved by Powell seconded by Madsen to adjourn to closed session- Roll call all yes. Moved by Powell, seconded by Fehrman to allow Clerk Danielson, Attorney Radcliff to be in closed session the full session and Mike Garbers as needed. Mike Garbers was dismissed at 7:04 p.m., returning at 7:27p.m. and dismissed at 8:26 p.m. Moved by Powell, seconded by Fehrman to Reconvene in Open Session at 8:51 p.m. Roll call all yes. Mike Garbers returned. Moved by Powell, seconded by Fehrman to give a written warning as discussed in closed session. Roll call all yes.
