Village Board Special Meeting Thursday May 2, 2024 1197 The Village Board met for a special meeting Thursday at the Village Hall @ 6:00p.m., with Chris Wruck, Jordan Powell, Sally Madsen, Chris Wruck, Jane Fehrman, and Clerk Penny Danielson, also present during the meeting were Kathryn Robinson, Casey Millis, Stephanie Rommel, Griffin Abbott and Gween Hernandez. 1. President Wruck called the meeting to order @ 6:00 p.m. 2. President Wruck certified the open meeting law requirements have been met. 3. Roll Call was taken by President Wruck. 4. Interviews for Deputy Clerk were conducted with Kathryn Robinson, Casey Millis, Stephanie Rommel, Griffin Abbott and Gween Hernandez. 5.Moved by Wruck, seconded by Fehrman to Adjourn in to Closed session 7:27 p.m. Pursuant to sec. 19.85 (1) (c) of the Wisconsin Statutes the Village Board may convene in closed session for the purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Allow Clerk Danielson to stay for closed session. Carried. Roll call Powell, Fehrman, Sprinkle, Madsen, Wruck all yes. Carried 6. Moved by Wruck, seconded by Powell to Adjourn Back into Open Session. 8:03 p.m. Roll call Powell, Fehrman, Sprinkle, Madsen, Wruck all yes. Carried 7. Moved by Wruck , seconded by Fehrman to offer the Deputy Clerk position to the first candidate with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour with a possible increase after a 90 days successful performance evaluation if she declines move to the next candidate.
