President Wruck - Certify the open meeting law requirements have been met. 3. Roll Call - Jordan Powell, Jane Fehrman (via phone), Sally Madsen, Heather Sprinkle, Chris Wruck - Present 4.The Village of Merrillan may convene in closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(b) to consider the dismissal, demotion, licensing or discipline of a Village Maintenance employee, the holding of an evidentiary hearing, and the taking of formal action on any such matter. 2:01pm - Roll call vote - Motion by President Wruck, Second by Powell - Fehrman Yes, Madsen Yes, Sprinkle Yes, Powell Yes, Wruck Yes 5.Reconvene in Open Session and take any appropriate action from the Closed Session. - 3:42pm - Roll call vote back into open session - Motion by Wruck, Second by Madsen -Fehrman Yes, Madsen Yes, Sprinkle Yes, Powell Yes, Wruck Yes Motion to dismiss Michael Garbers from the Assistant Superintendent position by Madsen, second by Jane - Roll call vote - Fehrman Yes, Madsen Yes, Sprinkle Yes, Powell Yes, Wruck Yes Motion to offer Assistant Superintendent position to part-timer Griffin Abbott at a starting wage of $18.50 per hour, a 120-day probationary period, and with the Superintendent providing monthly progress reports to the Board on training status and updates.
