EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Assistant City Council Clerk Search Committee will vote to enter into executive session with the Mayor, the Chief Administrative and Financial Officer, and the City Solicitor under Exemption 3 of the Open Meeting Law (Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 21(a)(3)) to discuss (i) candidates for the Assistant Clerk of the Council position where an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the hiring process of the public body and the Chair so declares. If the City Council enters into executive session, the committee will not vote to reconvene into an open meeting following the conclusion of the executive session.
