Special City Council Meeting Tuesday, March 22nd 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Chairman Beauregard called the special meeting to order at 6:08 p.m. Councilor Saba absent, Saffie absent Simard absent, Councilor Zeigler present, Councilor DiZoglio, Councilor Faretra, Councilor Finocchiaro, Councilor McCarty absent, Chairman Beauregard is present. The Mayor is not present. MOTION BY: Councilor DiZoglio, seconded by Councilor Faretra to accept the agenda. UPON VOTE: 5 yes, 4 absent. Chairman Beauregard said the Methuen City Council will vote to enter into executive session with legal counsel for the city council in accordance with exemption 7 of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 38, Section 21A 7 in order to comply with or act under the authority of any general or specific law or federal grant and aid requirements in particular to review and approve the executive session minutes of the city council meeting of June 10th 2021 and to determine whether the minutes warrant continued non-disclosure under Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 38, Section 22. Following the conclusion of the executive session, the city council will adjourn and not reconvene in open session.
