EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Methuen City Council will vote to enter into executive session with the Mayor, the Chief Administrative and Financial Officer, and legal counsel for the City of Methuen, under Exemption 3 of the Open Meeting Law (Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 21(a)(3)), to discuss strategy with respect to Methuen’s pending litigation, where an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the public body and the Chair so declares, and the pending litigation to be considered in the executive session is as follows: • Sean Fountain v. Following the conclusion of the Executive Session, the City Council will adjourn and not reconvene in open session. There will be no public participation in either the open session or executive session. David P.
