Methuen Cultural Council Grant Awards Meeting
Monday January 9, 2023 @ 6pm
Nevins Memorial Library, Study Room

Financial Report
FY23 Methuen has been granted $37,000
Update from Chair
Grant Cycle Timeline: Jennifer reported that we will have an extension to our grant
awards deadline. Jennifer is meeting with MCC liaison on 1/13/23 and will obtain a new
deadline at that time.
Review of Submitted Grants and Next Steps
20 grants were approved for funding. Six grants were not approved for funding. Two
grants are still under review. The Chair will write to the applicants for the six grants not
funded. They will have two weeks to file an objection. When that is complete, the chair
will send letters of approval and other paperwork to the grantees.
Future Business
Board Position Discussion. Voting to take place at the next meeting.
Council Funds allocation to be discussed at the next meeting.
Next meeting will be announced.
