Drouin Mayor City Clerk METHUEN LICENSING BOARD SEARLES BUILDING, 41 PLEASANT STREET SECOND FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM #208 Meeting of the Methuen Licensing Board on February 12, 2025, at 6:00pm in the second floor conference room, 41 Pleasant Street was called to order by Chairman Chase. Members present were Commissioner Camargo, and Commissioner Giordano was absent. Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Agenda for February 12, 2025. Commissioner Camargo motioned to approve the agenda for February 12, 2025. Second by Chairman Chase. All in favor. Approval of Minutes from December 11, 2024. Commissioner Camargo motioned to approve the minutes of the December 11, 2024 meeting. Second by Chairman Chase. All in favor. New Business: An application was submitted for a change of hours from Rivers Edge, 478 Lowell Street, to change the hours to be open until 1:00am Sunday through Saturday. Representatives from Rivers Edge have not yet filled out the ABCC paperwork for the change of hours. Motion to table this application until the March 12, 2025, was made my Chairman Chase, second by Commissioner Camargo. All in favor. Application tabled until the March 12, 2025 meeting. An application was submitted by the Dewey Club, 12 Dewey Street, for a Change of Officers/Directors/LLC Managers. Chairman Chase motioned to approve, second by Commissioner Camargo. All in favor. An application was submitted for a new Class II Auto Dealers License from Chad Moussa, d/b/a Swift Motors LLC, 500 Merrimack Street. Mr. Moussa came forward and stated this is his first time in retail auto but has been in and around the business. Gene approved (inspections) but the police have not been to Chad’s facility yet. Chairman Chase motioned for conditional approval for the Class II dealer’s license upon police approving the property, second by Commissioner Camargo. All in favor. Chairman Chase made a motion to adjourn, second by Commissioner Camargo. All in favor. Next meeting is on March 12, 2025.
