Motion made and seconded (Blakely/Davis) to accept the consent agenda as submitted; passed 3-0 1. Agenda Approval 2. Regular Meeting Minutes of June 24, 2025 Special Called Meeting Minutes of July 15, 2025 CITIZEN’S FORUM Public Comment (public comments limited to 2 minutes per speaker, please) H Grace Fuller questioned why the Micanopy Area Cooperative School (MACS) had been removed from the agenda. Administrator Samario responded that we do not have a quorum as Chair Warren is absent and Mike Davis is going to recuse himself from this discussion. Phil Irwin said Thank you for removing MACS, so we have more time. Bud DesForges asked everyone who is here to discuss MACS to raise their hands. PUBLIC HEARINGS 3. Removed from the agenda: Micanopy Area Cooperative School (MACS) - Preliminary Site Plan Quasi-Judicial Hearing of Proposed Site Plan Property Address: 802 NW Seminary Ave, Micanopy, FL 32667 Parcel Number: 16814-000-000 Removed from agenda. NEW BUSINESS 4. Community Center Concept Review Parcel # 16672-001-000 Applicant: Town of MIcanopy Paul Stressing, presented the conceptual review for parcel 16672-001-000 for the proposed community center. Discussion ensued at length. Paul Stressing will have more information in the form of a preliminary site plan at the September Planning & Historic Preservation Board meeting.
