Minutes of the September 30, 2014 Special Meeting of the Michigan City Aviation Board of Commissioners Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM in the terminal building at the airport. Members Present: Greg Poulin, David Miller, Kirk Hunter, Doug Buell. A quorum was present. Members Absent: None Others Present: Jessica Ward- Airport Manager, Rudy Vega- Airport Foreman New Business: 1. Capital Expenditures: Acquiring a New Piece of Equipment- There was much discussion between two different options for a new tractor to be used for pulling a Woods Batwing and plowing and blowing snow. The first option was a New Holland T6-175 (Elite) with a front three-point hitch plus PTO and a 96” blower for $98,900.00 including trade in. The second option was a New Holland 6070 Bi Directional with a PTO, draw bar and three-point hitch on both ends with a 96” blower for $109,789.00 including trade in. After weighing the pros and cons of both tractors there was a motion made to select option number two. Motion: David Miller Second: Kirk Hunter Motion Approved.
