NOTICE OF EXECUTIVE SESSION Name: Michigan City Board of Aviation Commissioners Date: July 11, 2019 Time: 5:15 p.m. Place: Michigan City Municipal Airport, 1300 IN-212, Michigan City, Indiana 46360 The Governing Body will hold an Executive Session as authorized under Indiana Code 5-14-1.5-6.1(b): An executive session is authorized by the following federal or state statute: I.C. 5-14-1.5- 6.1(b)(2)(D) For discussion* of strategy with respect to any of the following: Collective bargaining. The initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in writing. The implementation of security systems. The purchase, lease, transfer, exchange, or sale of real property by the governing body up to the time a contract or option is executed by the parties. *The strategy discussions must be necessary for competitive or bargaining reasons and will not include competitive or bargaining adversaries. Interviews and negotiations with industrial or commercial prospects or agents of industrial or commercial prospects by the Indiana economic development corporation, the office of tourism development, the Indiana finance authority, the ports of Indiana, an economic development commission, the Indiana state department of agriculture, a local economic development organization (as defined in IC 5-28-11-2(3)), or a governing body of a political subdivision. To receive information about and interview prospective employees.
