SPECIAL ZOOM MEETING – April 28, 2021 The Board of Public Works, and Safety of the City of Michigan City, Indiana met in special session on Wednesday morning, April 28, 2021, at the hour of 1:00 p.m., local time, hosted by “ZOOM” and streamed live on “My Michigan City” Facebook page. The meeting was called to order by President, Andrew White, who presided. Noted present: Andrew White, Virginia Keating, Mayor Duane Parry (3) Absent: (0) A QUORUM WAS NOTED PRESENT. Also noted in attendance: Amber Lapaich-Stalbrink, Corporate Counsel Gale Neulieb, City Clerk Dawn Debald, Deputy Clerk APPROVAL OF FARMER’S MARKET AGREEMENTS – Dee Haddad, Farmer’s Market Manager is requesting approval of the Farmer’s Market Agreements that are scheduled to start on May 1, 2021  Grandpa’s Farm – Randy Pressel  J & R Produce – Jack Haverstock  Burek Farms – Ed Burek  Sevick Gardens – James P. Grosse  I’m a Fungi Mushroom Pharm – Justin Sule  Sugar -n – Spice – Paula Biller  Tres Bien CBD Inc. – Steven Long Discussion ensued between Mayor Parry, Corporate Counsel, Amber Lapaich-Stalbrink and Dee Haddad regarding Tres Bien CBD, Inc. and the products they will be selling at the Farmer’s Market. President White asked if the Board has a problem approving all of the agreements in one motion? Vice-President Keating and Mayor Parry stated that is fine. Counsel Lapaich-Stalbrink advised she has reviewed all of the paperwork and everything is good. President White made the motion to approve the Farmer’s Market agreements between the City of Michigan City and the following: Grandpa’s Farm – Randy Pressel; J & R Produce – Jack Haverstock; Burek Farms – Ed Burek; Sevick Gardens – James P. Grosse; I’m a Fungi Mushroom Pharm – Justin Sule; Sugar-n-Spice – Paula Biller and Tres Bien CBD Inc. – Steven Long. The motion was seconded by Mayor Parry. The motion carried as follows: AYES: MEMBERS White, Keating and Parry (3). NAYS: (0). Motion Carries. ADJOURNMENT The presiding officer inquired whether there was anything else to be considered by the Board at this time and, there being none, asked for a motion to ADJOURN the meeting at approximately 1:07 p.m. Mayor Parry made the motion to Adjourn.
