Minutes Michigan City Public Art Committee Mayors Conference Room, City Hall, 100 E Michigan Blvd, Michigan City, IN 46360 March 1, 2016 9:00 am This special meeting was called to Order: Erika Hanner Attendees: Erika Hanner, Janet Bloch, CarolAnn Brown, Tim Haas, Robin Kohn, Shannon Eason, Dale Cooper, Lora Fosberg Old Business Wabash Street Project 1. Amber LaPaich to review purchase agreement, get RDC and BOW’s approval Motion: It was moved (Haas) and seconded (Eason) to approve the Wabash Street agreement and the let the contract will serve as the invoice. The motion carried unanimously. 2. Lora Fosberg to get plan from artists regarding installation details, Tim Haas to review, if there are additional costs for installation for a crane, etc., Tim Haas will invoice RDC as part of Wabash Street project. 3. Attached transfers approved 4. Attached Clemons scholarship approved 5. Tim to follow up with 5K donation (we received it) New Business Children’s Art Scholarship Motion: It was moved (Haas) and seconded (Brown) to accept the application of Lexus Clemons. The motion carried unanimously. Adjournment Ms. Hanner adjourned the meeting at 9:40 am. Next meeting The next Michigan City Public Art Committee meeting will be on Thursday, March 17, 2016, in the Mayors Conference Room, City Hall, 100 E Michigan Blvd, Michigan City, IN 46360 starting at 2:00 pm.
