AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT TASK FORCE
REGULAR MEETING OF DECEMBER 13, 2023

1. Call to Order
Meeting was called to order.
2. Public Comment
None
3. Approval of Minutes
Gene Nocera made a motion to approve the minutes from the November 8, 2023
regular meeting minutes and Bobbye Knoll Peterson seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.
4. New Business
A. 2024 ARPA Meeting Schedule
Brig explained that if the Task Force is okay, the 2024 meetings will continue on
the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m.
Cynthia Clegg made a motion to approve the 2024 ARPA Meeting schedule and
Bobbye Knoll Peterson seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
5. Old Business
A. Report of Current Expenses and Balances
Claire stated the numbers regarding the city projects and subrecipient projects. She
explained that the city has obligated 99.1% of the funds awarded and has expended
52.4% of the funds. She also explained that the council voted to return, to the
contingency balance, the $88,000 award Middlesex Redemption Center and the
$75,000 awarded to Connecticut Home Collective. More discussion ensued
regarding Dominick DeMartino’ s request for additional funding and the task force
agreed to put this on next month’s Task Force meeting.

Gene Nocera made a motion to adjourn and Rev. Robyn Anderson seconded the motion.
The motion passed unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 11:40 p.m.
