MIDDLETOWN AREA TRANSIT Minutes for Monday, July 09, 2018 Special Meeting of Management Contract RFP Evaluation Committee Thomas A. Cheeseman Transportation Center, Middletown Area Transit Maintenance Facility, 91 North Main Street, Middletown, CT 1. Call to Order B. Lawrence called the meeting to order at 6:04 pm. 2. Roll Call - Committee Members Present: Beverly Lawrence, Chair MAT Board, L. Francis, First Selectwoman Durham, Ed Bailey, First Selectman, Middlefield; Committee Members Absent: J. Dunn Staff Present: Lisa Seymour, Administrator Public Present: None. Quorum established. 3. RFP Evaluation – One RFP received from First Transit. It was distributed to all committee members. L. Seymour presented FTA RFP Sole Source guidelines as well as responses and quotes following the sole source guideline. Discussion. All three members wish to recommend to the Board to accept the RFP from First Transit and move forward in the process. All were in agreement. Recommendation will be made at the July 11, 2018 Board meeting. 4. Adjournment – B. Lawrence moved to adjourn 6:24pm.
