MIDDLETOWN COMMISSION ON THE ARTS Committee: Poet Laureate Location: City Hall B19 Committee Minutes of Meeting – October 15, 2018 1) Call to order: Chairwoman Crystal Laffan called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m. with Chairwoman Cassandra Day and Commissioners Franca Biales and Julia Faraci present. 2) Public session: No members of the public present 3) Application process review: We currently have 3 candidates interested in the position of Poet Laureate of Middletown. There was discussion about the scheduling of interviews, best practices for conducting the interviews and the panel selection.
