Minutes of the Meeting Tuesday, April 30, 2019 6:45 p.m. Room B-19, Municipal Building 245 deKoven Drive Music Subcommittee Present: Barbara Arafeh, Domenique Thornton, Anne Marie Cannata (by phone) Also present, Kisha Michael 1. Call to Order – Meeting was called to order by Barbara Arafeh at 7:00 p.m. 2. Public Session – None in attendance 3. Approval of Minutes for 2-19-2019 – passed unanimously 4. Chairs Report – Compiled are 150 names of Middletown musicians. Barbara met with Middlesex Historical Society’s Maria Weinberger, Executive Director; very interested in our musical exhibit. 5. Old Business – Other music resources include: Shape Note Singers from the 17th David Elderly, pianist and Al Jarvis Orchestra of the Hartford Jazz Orchestra. Discussion ensued. 6.
