Committee Meeting Minutes Monday, July 27, 2020 Middletown, CT Via WebEx MCA Grants Review Committee Minutes Present: Lee Godburn Joyce Kirkpatrick Julia Faraci Franca Biales, ex officio Absent: Charlotte McCoid Also Present: Kisha Michael, Staff 1. Call to Order - Lee volunteers to chair meeting and opens it at 11:42 AM 2. Public Session - With no public present, there was no session. 3. Approval of the Agenda - The Agenda was approved as presented following a motion by Joyce Kirkpatrick, seconded by Franca Biales. 3. Grant Guidelines for FY21 a.) Updates and Recommendations Kisha Michael updated the committee on the MCA Matching Funds Grant Guidelines that were reviewed by the OGC and Chief Management Analyst. She presented their suggestions and the reasons for them. Julia Faraci arrived about 12:10 PM. The Committee examined the 5 pages of Guidelines in order and thoroughly discussed these with Kisha. They formulated several recommendations for the MCA to discuss. 4. Any further business – none 5.
