MCA Special Meeting
Monday, March 8, 2021

1. Call to order – meeting was called to order at 6:13 p.m.
2. Approval of agenda –Kirkpatrick moved to approve the agenda, seconded by McCoid.
3. Discussion
i. PSG Applicants – Kirkpatrick moved to discuss the recommendations as presented, McCoid
seconded. Discussion ensued. McCoid moved to approve the amended recommended
amounts for PSG grant applications, seconded by Faraci.

Connecticut Ballet “Ballet Under the Stars” $2,500
New Haven Symphony Orchestra “Music Program for MHS” $5,000
Sarada Nori “Kuchipudi Dance” $2,000
Artists for World Peace “Buckets of Love” $2,410

Total $14,910
ii. GOS Applicants – no discussion. A quorum vote will take place at the upcoming regular
meeting scheduled for March 24, 2021.
4. Any further business – Steele, Chair asked for ideas and input for the MCA’s 50th and to submit
these ideas at the upcoming regular meeting.
5. Adjournment – Meeting adjourned at 6:32 p.m.
