A. Call to Order - The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m.
B. Discussion of 2020 Applications and Possible Allocations –The Committee discussed
allocating funds to the grantees that applied for 2020. Due to COVID-19, the meeting
scheduled to hear presentations from the applicants was cancelled. The committee began to
determine possible allocations, however, it was decided that it would be best to hear
presentations from the applicants. The committee voted to hold presentations at a Special
Meeting on June 22, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. and allow each applicant 10 minutes to present their
applications and answer questions. A Special Meeting will be held on June 23, 2020 at
6:00 p.m. to vote on allocations for the 2020 Program Year.
C. Update on CARES Act Grant Applications – Ms. MacPherson advised the Committee
that she had received 11 grant applications thus far. She is recommending that the following
be brought to the Common Council for approval: Middlesex Music Academy; Tina’s Fine
Lingerie, LLC; Discount Beauty Plus Supply Salon; EG Salon, LLC and Perk on Main,
LLC.
D. Adjournment – It was unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:11 p.m.
