A. Call to Order - The meeting was called to order at 6:13 p.m.
B. Public Comment–No members of the public.
C. –Approval of Minutes – On motion of G. Daley, seconded by G. Faulkner, the minutes of the
meeting held on June 23, 2020 were approved with B. Peterson abstaining. On motion of G.
Daley, seconded by G. Faulkner, the minutes of the meeting held on August 19, 2020 were
approved with S. Fulton and B. Peterson abstaining from the vote.
D. Update on CARES Act Grant Awards– Ms. MacPherson updated the committee on
approved CDBG Cares Act Grants awarded to small businesses. She also informed the
committee of the third round of CARES Act Grant Dollars awarded to the City in the amount of
$328,072.
E. Other – Ms. Peterson discussed possible uses for the $328,072. Mr. Szynkowicz asked
about the warming center. Ms. Peterson stated that the City is actively pursuing a location for
the center. M. Fallon noted that the Abbott Test is not completely effective at detecting the virus
and was wondering what the Health Department’s thoughts on this test are.
F. Adjourn –It was unanimously voted to adjourn the meeting at 6:32 p.m.
