Regular Meeting of January 9, 2025
Code Enforcement Committee
Committee Members Present: Gary Gessaro, Fire Marshal; Scott Kotowski, Fire Marshal;
Ryan Parmalee, Deputy Fire Marshal; Thomas Hazel, Zoning and Blight Enforcement Officer;
Dean Lisitano, Chief Building Official; and Christopher Forte, Assistant General Counsel.
Members of the Public: None.
1. Call to Order By Staff. AGC Forte called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.
2. Approval of Minutes. Review and approval of minutes for the December 12, 2024 regular
meeting.
Motion to approve the minutes was made by Dean Lisitano and seconded by Thomas Hazel.
Motion passed at 9:01 am.
3. Public Session. No public comment.
4. New Business. None.
5. Old Business.
A. Mayor’s Office.
1. Forbidden Llama: The attorney for the owner of the property reached out to
Land Use to inform them that the second and third floors of the property are
not in use and consequently, the tenant is not in violation of the lease. No
other updates.
B. Land Use Department
1. 455 & 465 Middlefield Street: No updates.
2. 52 North Main Street: Notice of Blight issued on 12/2/24. Inspection will
occur in January 2025.
C. Building Department
1. 699 Country Club Road: Arrest warrant has been transmitted to States
Attorney’s Office for review and issuance. No other updates.
6. Adjournment.
Motion to adjourn was made by Scott Kotowski and seconded by Thomas Hazel. Motion
passed unanimously at 9:07 am.
