SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL MIDDLETOWN CONNECTICUT JULY 9, 2015 Special Meeting The Special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Middletown was held in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Building on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. Present Council Members Mary A. Bartolotta, Grady L. Faulkner, Jr., Carl Chisem, James B. Streeto, Sebastian Giuliano, Sandra Russo Driska, David Bauer and Common Council Clerk Marie O. Norwood. Absent Mayor Daniel T. Drew, Deputy Mayor Robert P. Santangelo; Corporation Counsel Daniel B. Ryan, Council Members Thomas J. Serra, Hope P. Kasper, Gerald E. Daley, and Deborah Kleckowski,. Also Present Two members of the public. 1. Mayor calls meeting to order at 7 p.m. for the Community Public Meeting. (Pledge of Allegiance) The Acting Chair opens the meeting at 7:00 and leads the public in the Pledge of Allegiance. (Council Clerk Reads the Call of the Meeting and Mayor declares call a legal call and meeting legal meeting.) The Acting Chair requests the clerk to read the call of the meeting and declares the call a legal call and the meeting a legal meeting. 2. Public Comment Opens The Acting Chair opens the community meeting at 7:03 p.m. and states anyone wishing to speak should come forward and give their name and address for the record. 3. Public Comment Closes. The Acting Chair seeing no member of the public wishing to address the Council closes the public hearing a 7:04 p.m. 4. Meeting adjourned. The Chair asks for a motion to adjourn. Councilman Bauer so moves and is seconded by Councilman Chisem. The vote is unanimous. The Chair declares the meeting adjourned at 7:04 p.m. ATTEST: MARIE O.
