COMMON COUNCIL MIDDLETOWN, CONNECTICUT SPECIAL MEETING TOUR: McDONOUGH SCHOOL THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2024 6:00 PM MINUTES A Special Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Middletown, a site visit and tour of McDonough School, Spring Street, was held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM. As a site visit, this meeting was an in- person only meeting. Present: Councilman Eugene Nocera, President Councilman Anthony Mangiafico Councilman Vincent Loffredo Councilman Steven Kovach Councilwoman Jeanette Blackwell Councilwoman Linda Salafia Councilman Darnell Ford Councilman Anthony Gennaro, Sr. Councilman Grady Faulkner, Jr. Councilman Jonathan Pulino Councilwoman Kelly Sweeney Councilwoman Leslie Spatola Also Present: Hon. Call to Order The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:08 PM. He welcomes everyone to the Common Council’s Special Meeting, this on-site tour of McDonough School. A. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was not recited. B. Council Clerk Reads the Call of the Meeting and Mayor declares call a legal call and meeting a legal meeting The Clerk of the Common Council reads the Call of the Meeting and the Chair declares the call a legal call and the meeting a legal meeting. 2. Building Tour The TSKP staff welcomes the City delegation to the building. Meeting adjourned There being no further business, Councilwoman Jeanette Blackwell moves to adjourn. Councilwoman Leslie Spatola seconds the motion. There being no discussion, the Chair calls for a voice vote. The motion is approved unanimously by a vote of 9-0 (AYE: Councilmembers Nocera, Loffredo, Blackwell, Ford, Faulkner, Mangiafico, Kovach, Salafia, and Spatola; ABSENT: Councilmembers Gennaro, Pulino, and Sweeney).
