Special Meeting Minutes
Monday, July 25, 2024, 5 PM
Location: Outside Macdonough School
Attendees: John Hall, Laura Baum, Howard Weissberg, Paddy McKenna, Zoemma

The above group met outside Macdonough School on Spring Street on July 25, 2024 at 5pm. We
walked up and down Spring Street, observing and commenting on the bike lanes, sidewalks,
parking, and general street infrastructure. We discussed the 2021 redesign and how the street
functions differently with the changes.

The Middletown Complete Streets Committee will hold a Special Meeting on July 24, 2024 from
5pm to 6pm outside Macdonough School (66 Spring Street, Middletown).

Meet outside Macdonough School, 66 Spring St
Spring Street was redesigned in 2021. Middletown’s Complete Streets Committee is holding an
on-site Special Meeting on Spring Street to discuss the changes and how people think they’re
working.
We plan to walk several blocks together, starting outside Macdonough School. The discussion is
free and open to the public. Please join us!
The event will take place in light rain. Thunderstorms will cancel. If the day is hot, please use
precautions (bring water, hat, umbrella, etc.)
