LOCATION: ROOM 208, CITY HALL In attendance: Jeff Bianco, Marilyn Mills, Maria Madsen Holzberg, Christina Wasch, Brian Kronenberger, Staff: Marek Kozikowski, Director. Six members of the public were present. 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 5:12 pm. 2. Public Comment for Items on the Agenda None. 3. Old Business None. 4. New Business 4.1. Proposed gazebo at 98 Washington Street (Luce Restaurant). SPR2022-243 Director Kozikowski presented the application for a new gazebo located between the new pavilion that is under construction and Main Street. The materials will match the pavilion. Motion to approve as submitted Made by Holzberg; seconded by Mills Approved 5-0 4.2. Discussion on proposed additions and modifications to the building at 56 Hamlin Street. Joseph Banks, Wesleyan University and Jason Forney, Architect presented the proposal which included either renovation or reconstructing the existing building and constructing additions and other site improvements. The intent is to preserve as much of the existing building and façade as possible. 4.3. Discussion on Development Guidelines related to the riverfront master plan. Mike Aziz, Cooper Robertson went through in detail the draft copy of the development guidelines. A discussion ensued. 4.4. Adoption of 2023 Meeting Calendar.
