In attendance: Brian Kronenberger, Maria Madsen Holzberg, Jammie Middleton, Bruce Plumley.
Staff: Marek Kozikowski, Director.
Five members of the public were present.

The meeting was called to order at 6:23 pm.

4.1. Request for the proposed installation of a 400 kW generator at 111 Church Street in the
DVD zone. Applicant/Agent: Rafiq Bulsara/S&R Engineers, LLC. SPR2023-104
Rafiq Bulsara, Applicant presented the application for an emergency generated to be located at the
nursing home. The proposal includes locating a diesel generator in the location shown on the site
plan, electrical switchgear to be located on the building and the relocation of a transformer pad. The
generator is 19’2” x 6’6” x 11’11”.
A discussion ensued about the location and size of the generator in relation to the existing fencing,
trees, monument sign and property lines.
Motion for applicant to return with a landscaping plan and scaled location of equipment and existing
signage and fencing.

Unanimously approved.
4.2. Demolition of the building located at 584 Main Street. Applicant/Agent: Dominick
DeMartino.
Dominick DeMartino, applicant presented the application. The intent is to demolish the front 1/3 of
the building (Main Street façade) which was built in the late 1800s. He presented conceptual plans
for the reconstruction and renovation so of the building will which will include retail on the first
floor and 12 apartments on the upper floors.

A discussion ensued that included the topic of railings on the upper floor windows. Elevation details
including materials and colors will be presented at a later time.
