In attendance: Brian Kronenberger, Marilyn Mills, Lee Godburn, Wendy Smith.
Staff: Marek Kozikowski, Director.

The meeting was called to order at 6:15 pm.

4.1. Proposed exterior renovations to the building located at of 267 Court Street in the DVD
zone. Applicant/Agent: Joseph Banks/Wesleyan University. SPR2023-208
Joseph Banks presented the application. The proposed location of the handicap ramp was moved to
the side entrance. They found siding is 7.5 in cedar underneath the siding, which they will expose
and keep and patch and stain to match. The asbestos shingles will be removed. The portico will be
reconstructed and they will preserve the details as best they can. The windows will be taken out,
restored and replaced.
Motion to accept as proposed with the addition of a window where an existing door is located and

4.2. Proposed Restoration of the façade for the existing boathouse at 36 Harbor Drive.
Joseph Banks presented the proposal. The boathouse was built over 30 years ago, economically and
has aged and damaged over time. They are looking to update the façade with more durable materials
and reinforce the frame and building corners with galvanized steel. They will add new vertical vinyl
siding above the first story. The building will have flood vents. The roof will be new and the
windows would be repaired.
Motion to approve the concept and come back with overall color schemes and materials.
