1) Discussion on the wetlands violation at Founder’s Ridge on Ridgewood Road
and offsite impacts on 97 Poplar Road. Applicant/ agent Ted Bysiewicz /
Homes in Westfield, LLC
Marek gave an update. The Army Corps of Engineers have been notified of the issues and gave
recommendations to Mr. Bysiewicz. He recommends that the IWWA hold off making their own
recommendations or instructions until they have a plan acceptable to the Army Corps of
Engineers. A lengthy discussion continued on the outstanding Cease & Desist Order.
Marek will go to the site, inspect the erosion controls and if he does not see anything awry, he will
issue zoning sign-off for the three units that were requested. He will also ensure that additional
measures are installed as they relate to the development.
D. New Business
1) Proposed pond rehabilitation/maintenance by removal of accumulated
sediment at 97 Poplar Road. Applicant/agent Ameritage, LLC 21-01
This item was submitted tonight to be scheduled as Old Business at the next meeting. Trevor
Davis moves to schedule to the next meeting. Ken McClellan seconds the motion. The Chair
calls for the vote. Motion to move to Old Business for the April 7th meeting was approved
unanimously.
2) Proposed trailer lot expansion including a 7.4 acre parking lot within the 100
ft. Upland Review Area located at 49 FedEx Drive. Applicant/agent FedEx
Ground Package System, Inc. 21-02 (To be scheduled for a public hearing)
Ken McClellan moves to schedule a public hearing for April 7th. David Pritchard seconds the
motion. The Chair calls for the vote. Motion was approved unanimously.
Joe Carta reached out to Jane Brawerman, Chair of the Conservation Commission to get the
Commission’s input. He feels it would help out the Commission as well as the Project to get their
recommendations. Jane said that she will look into it. The Chair calls for a motion to send the
application to the River Council. Trevor Davis moves. David Pritchard seconds the motion. The
Chair calls for a vote. Motion was approved unanimously.
3) Proposed new 600’ access driveway with associated blasting, excavation,
grading and drainage system within 100 ft upland review area on property
map 40, lots 0113 & 0115. Applicant/agent MWH Associates, LLC 21-03 (To
be scheduled for a public hearing)
Trevor Davis moves to schedule a public hearing for April 7th. David Pritchard seconds the motion.
The Chair calls for the vote. Motion was approved unanimously.
