A. Call to Order
J. Carta, Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
J. Carta, Chairman stated that before we start I need compelled to bring something up. He has been
made aware that an application coming up before this commission was mentioned on social media
sites. An agenda of the meeting was posted as well and he hopes that the person who posted it was not
a member of this commission or the Planning and Zoning Commission. There were also a lot of
comments and replies that were not accurate, false and deceptive, and he is bothered by that.
J Carta said that this is the way it works. When an application is submitted, the commission has to
accept it. Then the commission has to decide if a public hearing is required. The public can petition for
a public hearing with 25 signatures.
