Call to Order Council Member Blanchard called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. B. Approval of Minutes Council Member Salafia made a motion to approve the minutes of October 2, 2018. Council Member Blanchard seconded the motion. Motion passed. C. Public Session No member of the public were present for the Public Session. D. Executive Session Motion to go into Executive Session by Council Member Salafia, seconded by Council Member Blanchard. Motion passed. Zack Delany presented discussion regarding strategy and negotiations with respect to Jairo Solis vs. City of Middletown, pursuant to sections 1-200 (6) (B) and 1-225 of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended. Motion to rise from Executive Session by Council Member Salafia, seconded by Council Member Blanchard. Motion passed. Motion by Council Member Salafia to provide settlement authority for Jairo Solis vs City of Middletown as presented and discussed in Executive Session, Council Member Blanchard seconded motion, motion passed. E. Report on Claims Closed within the General Counsel’s Settlement Authority and City’s Insurance Carrier, CIRMA 1. Debra Royce vs. City of Middletown 2.
