A. Call to Order
Chairman Faulkner called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.
B. Approval of Minutes
Council Member Ford made a motion to approve the minutes of June 2, 2020. Council
Member Salafia seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
C. Public Session
No member of the public were present for the virtual Public Session.
D. Report on Claims Closed within the General Counsel’s Settlement Authority
and City’s Insurance Carrier, CIRMA
1. Dhanarie Gibbs vs. City of Middletown
2. Glenn Salamone vs. City of Middletown
3. Unreimbursed Property Payments
E. Other Business
1. Matt Bacon, Claims Administrator, will present property damage claims for
the Moody School.
2. Matt Bacon, Claims Administrator, will present property damage claims for
the Saybrook Road.
Motion to approve payments up to $50,000.00 for the Moody School Library remediation
made by Council Member Ford, Seconded by Council Member Salafia. Motion passed
unanimously.
Motion to approve payment for $9,765.20 to Everett Electrical for repairs to Saybrook
Road traffic light made by Council Member Salafia, Seconded by Council Member Ford.
Motion passed unanimously.
F. Adjournment
The Committee adjourned at 6:24 p.m. on motion of Chairman Faulkner, seconded by
Council Member Salafia, and carried unanimously.
