Present: Chairman Grady Faulkner; Council Member Linda Salafia;

Sterling, Attorney; Nancy Conaway-Raczka, Risk Manager
A. Call to Order
Chairman Faulkner called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m.
B. Approval of Minutes
Council Member Salafia made a motion to approve the minutes of December 1, 2020.
Chairman Faulkner seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
C. Public Session
No member of the public were present for the virtual Public Session.
D. Executive Session
Motion to go into Executive Session by Council Member Salafia, seconded by Chairman
Faulkner. Motion passed unanimously.
Attorney Sterling presented discussion regarding strategy and negotiations with respect to
D’Antonio vs. City of Middletown and Middletown Public Schools, pursuant to sections 1-
200 (6) (B) and 1-225 of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended.
Motion to rise from Executive Session by Council Member Salafia, seconded by
Chairman Faulkner. Motion passed unanimously.
Motion by Council Member Salafia to accept a $18,500 settlement for D’Antonio vs City
of Middletown and Middletown Public Schools, Chairman Faulkner seconded motion,
motion passed unanimously.
E. Other Business
None.
F. Adjournment
The Committee adjourned at 6:33 p.m. on motion of Chairman Faulkner, seconded by
Council Member Salafia, and carried unanimously.
