Tenant issues
Two tenants continue to remain in treatment off site. One is being prepared for return to
Shepherd. The committee voted to have his return with a letter from a physician that he could
live independently, and he was not a danger to himself or others. He was to agree to participate
in substance abuse treatment. ir apartments are being reserved for them. We are still awaiting a
treatment plan that would make it safe for them to return to the facility. Their family members
and the treatment provider are seeking additional resources for them.
Plans are reported to include a staff presence with him five days a week, three hours a day.
Occupancy
Occupancy remains at 100%
Security
Security presence has been reduced from eight to four hours on the weekends. There have been
no increased problems in the residence. Committee approved eliminating security while
continuing to monitor behavior, effective 11/16.
Building issues
Still working to clarify a price to address the asbestos in the slate tiles.
