Shepherd Home Advisory Committee MINUTES November 9, 2022 5:00 Location: Zoom video or inperson Those in Attendance: Col. Phil Cacciola, Chair; Vice-Chair; Atty. Ralph Wilson, Veteran Larry Riley, Retired, Atty. Seb Giuliano, Carl Rodenhizer, Columbus House Phil opened the meeting at 5:00. Minutes approved with a motion by Larry and second by Seb Facility issues Roof: Efforts to secure approval to access reserves is ongoing to replace the roof. Ramp by Southern Porch, Security at Porches – options still being explored Other solar lights for flag to be researched. Case Manager Replacement DeMarco continues to recruit a replacement for the current vacancy. DeMarco staff is managing the property through assignment of key tasks. A request was made for members to receive a copy of DeMarco’s contract. We discussed Columbus House staff spending more time on site and explore tenants taking on reporting issues. Occupancy We continue to have two vacancies with a third pending Finances A finance report through the end of October was distributed.
