Shepherd Home Advisory Committee MINUTES May 8, 2024 5:00 Location: Zoom video and in-person at Shepherd Conference Room Those in attendance are Phil Cacciola, veteran and chair; Vinnie Loffredo, vice chair; Larry Riley, veteran; Atty. Ralph Wilson, Atty. Seb Giuliano, Carl Rodenhizer, Columbus House, Alisha Porto and Takisha Bryant, Property Manager, DeMarco. Phil opened the meeting at 17:00. Minutes of April 10 were approved as presented. Occupancy The facility is down to one vacancy. A complete application is missing a signature and then will be submitted to the housing authority. DeMarco anticipates full occupancy by the end of the month. Financials The quarter ending March 31 realized a positive variance of $15,241. Building Issues DeMarco has been authorized to proceed with the copper flashing repair on the roof. Donation. Thanks to a donation from Larry Riley, a new grill will be purchased in time for the May 18, 5th anniversary of Shepherd’s opening. Next meetings Next meeting scheduled for June 12, 2023.
