Simonian, Executive Director Property Management Committee October 26, 2023 Meeting Minutes The Property Management Committee met Thursday, October 26, 2023, at The District Offices at 245 Main Street, Cromwell, Connecticut. Chairman James Fallon called the meeting to order at 5:07 PM. Present were Committee Chairman James Fallon and Committee Members – Bonnie Anderson, Gerald Daley and Daniel Salerno. There was a quorum. Also present were Board Chairman – John Dunham and Executive Director – Art Simonian, along with Steve Ginolfi, James Parmiter, and Harry Burr – from Brown and Brown Insurance of Rocky Hill, CT. Committee member Daniel Salerno arrived at 5:14PM The following is a summary of the October 26, 2023, Property Management meeting: 1) Insurance Broker Art had meetings with Brown and Brown and Abbate Insurance in New Haven, and he provided them with the specifics of our current policies and coverage. Brown and Brown Insurance presented their qualifications and summary analysis of our coverage. Their company seems very stable, has been in bu siness for over 80 years, has written 30 billion in policies, with 3 billion in annual revenues. There are 15,000 employees with 90 in the Rocky Hill, CT office. The Committee felt that we should invite USI in for an interview to discuss their qualifications and any recommended policy changes which will be tentatively scheduled for November 9 t h . 2) Related Business & Staff Updates – None Adjournment: Mr. Daley moved, no second required , and the committee approved unanimously to adjourn at 6:15 PM.
