Desena – Middletown Police Department Sgt. Cunningham, Portland PD Dave Kuzminski, Portland IT Public Present None CALL TO ORDER Chairman Andrew called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Chairman Andrew entertained a motion to accept the minutes from the previous meeting held in December. Commissioner Creem so moved, Commissioner Bransfield seconded, and all voted in favor. PUBLIC HEARING o None CORRESPONDENCE o None  January 8, 2018 minutes MONTHLY REPORT o Director Bartolotta gave the monthly report: o Monthly call statistics were handed out: o Noted that report was for entire calendar year 2017 o EMD Statistics were handed out for pervious six (6) months o Radio project continuing o Still having weekly conference calls with Motorola o Cross Street fire station communications shelter in. o SBA Long Hill site has generator. o Mile Lane is permitted as well – can start at any time most likely week of 1/15/18. o Portland site has bid complete on tower reinforcement. Awaiting start of project because of heat concerns. o Staffing: o Currently at seventeen – full is twenty one o In process of conditional offer to Dispatcher Trainee. o Awaiting Deputy Director finalization once background is complete. o Lt. DeSena asked about the radio project and when it would be operational and Director Bartolotta stated around Labor Day OLD BUSINESS o None NEW BUSINESS o None.
