Desena – Middletown Police Department Eric Larson – Hunter’s Ambulance Jim Santacroce – Middlesex Hospital John Connelly – Middlesex Hospital Lori Ruffino – Recording Secretary Public Present None CALL TO ORDER Chairman Andrew called the meeting to order at 11:03 a.m. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Chairman Andrew asked for approval of the minutes as presented, Commissioner Bransfield approved, Commissioner Nocera seconded, and all voted in favor.  March 2, 2020 minutes PUBLIC HEARING o None CORRESPONDENCE o None MONTHLY REPORT o Director Bartolotta gave the monthly report:  Call statistics sheet was handed out for February: o Nothing unusual to report – January EMD % is 95.75  Radio Project update: o Completed connectivity with the state – Police, Fire, Emergency Management, and Public Works are all tied into the state system and can go anywhere in the State of Connecticut and talk on the system o Final payment to be made to Motorola  Staffing update: o Two in house candidates to be tested for posted job opening  Budget update: o Meeting with the Mayor held February 27th – provided Mayor a budget with two options OLD BUSINESS o None NEW BUSINESS o Corona Virus issue was raised by Commissioner Bransfield as well as the Arrigoni Bridge project  Brief discussion was had about the Arrigoni Bridge project  March 2, 2020 minutes  Commissioner Nocera stated that the Health Department will be at the Council Meeting to give an update on the Corona Virus  Jim Santacroce of Middlesex Hospital informed the commission that the hospital has implemented a command structure to deal with all things Corona Virus and part of that will be the outreach to the Community Health Center and the health districts ADJOURNMENT Chairman Andrew made a motion to adjourn and the meeting was adjourned at 11:20 a.m. Submitted, Lori Ruffino Recording Secretary Next meeting to be held on April 6, 2020 in Middletown
