Department Reports:
Skate Rink Update – over 600 people have skated since opening, staying open until the first
weekend of May and will then re-open mid to late Fall. Discussion about deconstruction of
the rink. Discussion about lack of parking.
RecTrac Upgrade – did a major upgrade, still working out the kinks. In the long run, this
upgrade will be great.
Building Updates – needed to move 2 people out of their office due to water, they are
temporarily in the library. The office’s carpet and part of the drywall have been removed.
The plan is to dig after 5/2 to address any cracks in the foundation. Ed Dypa raised the issue
of the pavers, which are disintegrating.

Budget Hearing – the only increases are the contractual obligations for full-time staff and a
request to fully fund the front desk clerk which is currently part-time. Discussion ensued.
