RECREATION & COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION –
In attendance: Lincoln Everest, Anthony Jaskot, Winfred Lee, Philip Pessina, Salvatore
Uccello, Jeanette Blackwell, Kristen Jensen, Dan Deconti, Ed Dypa
Absent: Matt Fraulino

Call Meeting to Order: Meeting called to order at 6:00pm.
Public Hearing: No Comments
Approval of the Minutes: Deferred until March meeting
OLD BUSINESS: none
NEW BUSINESS:
Welcome New Members – Introductions of new commissioners – Kristen Jensen and Dan
Deconti
Meeting Start Time – discussion of the start time of the meeting and proposal of moving the
meeting time to 5:30pm. Discussion ensued. Commission agreed to the 5:30 start time beginning in
March.
Sports Grants Interviews – Representatives from each leagues presented on their grant and then
commissioners asked questions.
6:10pm: Prof. Gallitto Girls Basketball – Harold Panciera presented
6:20pm: Prof. Gallitto Boys Basketball – Ed Battle presented
6:30pm: Middletown Youth Lacrosse – Rob McMullen presented
6:40pm: Middletown Youth Soccer, Inc. – Steve Crouch presented
6:50pm: Ahern Whalen – Tom Shea presented
7:00pm: Middletown Youth Baseball and Softball – Russ Cormier
7:10pm: Middletown Monarchs – Jim Lane and Tim D’Aquilia presented
7:20pm: Middletown Youth Football & Cheerleading – Jim Gallant and Tony Sharillo

Ed Dypa made a motion to adjourn, Tony seconded. All in favor.
