RECREATION & COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION –
In attendance via WebEx: Philip Pessina, Jeanette Blackwell, Matt Fraulino, Sal Uccello, Ed Dypa,
Anthony Jaskot,Dan Deconti, Kristen Jensen
Absent: Lincoln Everest

Meeting called to order at 5:33 pm
Public Hearing:
No members of public in attendance
Approval of the Minutes:
Motion to approve January Meeting Minutes by Councilwoman Blackwell seconded
by Dan Deconti. Approved unanimously.
Department Reports:
Continuing programming, camp registration is open, Unified Theater performance is in late
March – specific dates will be sent to the commission, Easter Egg Hunt will be on in our traditional
model!
We need to replace a few commission members – if current members have suggestions,
please let Director Lechowicz know.
Rec Center renovations are happening in earnest.
NEW BUSINESS:
Sports Grants
Conducted Sports Grants Interviews via WebEx asking league representatives about how COVID impacted their
league, their funding and what they anticipate using sports grants funds for moving forward.
